What should I send to open escrow?
Send what you have. We’ll ask for the rest.
A home sale
- The signed purchase contract, with every counteroffer and addendum
- The buyer’s and the seller’s full names, phone numbers and emails
- Both agents’ names, brokerages and contact details
- The lender’s contact, if the buyer is getting a loan
- Selling? Your mortgage lender, your loan number and your HOA’s name
A business sale
- The signed purchase agreement, with the price and what’s included
- Every business name and address the seller used in the last three years
- A list of the inventory and equipment being sold
- The lease and the landlord’s contact details
- The liquor license number, if one is part of the sale
What happens after we get it?
Step 1: We open the escrow
We open the file and send escrow instructions for the buyer and the seller to read and sign.
Step 2: The deposit comes in
The buyer sends the deposit on the schedule in the contract. Call us at (714) 962-0999 to check the wiring details before you send anything.
